About Sentio

Sentio Partners was established in January 2012 by the former partners and employees of BTG McInnes Corporate Finance. With a market presence covering almost 20 years, the team has become widely recognised as one of the leading independent corporate finance firms in the UK. Sentio Partners offers a genuine partner-led approach and is dedicated to providing strategic advice and corporate finance services across a wide range of industry sectors, to public and private companies, management teams and financial institutions operating in the UK mid-market.

Sentio Insight was established in January 2014, after teaming up with MaxAim LLP, combining both businesses’ successful transaction support services offerings under a new brand providing advice-based, opinion-led and partner-executed transaction support services to clients. Sentio Insight draws upon its partners’ unique range of experiences gained in both the professional services industry and as finance directors within industry. It also provides a range of associated value added services in investigative projects and finance director and corporate development director support.

The key focus of Sentio is to provide quality advice that consistently exceeds expectations, delivered by our team of partners, Dave Irwin, Ian Marwood, Andy Miller, Rory Wade, Will Arnold, Ian Robinson and Tom Hayes, all of whom were trained by and have extensive experience in the corporate finance or transaction support practices of the major accounting firms. Over the past twenty years the partners have completed several hundred transactions, ranging in size from £1m to in excess of £200m and covering all forms of corporate finance activity.

Our style is to present open and honest opinions, adopting a hands-on approach and remaining close to all aspects of a transaction from start to completion. We take pride in our approach of extending all client relationships beyond the immediate transaction by offering ongoing strategic advice and input aimed at creating incremental value over time.
