Sentio provides advice in relation to Liberata’s acquisition of Trustmarque

Sentio has provided advice and support in relation to the acquisition of Trustmarque Solutions Limited (Trustmarque) by Liberata UK Limited (Liberata).

Trustmarque will continue to operate as a separate entity fully supporting all existing partner and customer relationships. Trustmarque’s current senior management team, including CEO, Scott Haddow, and sales & marketing director, Angelo Di Ventura, will remain responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations.

“In Liberata we have found a natural home for Trustmarque. The strategic fit between the two organisations is excellent and as a result we are excited about the market opportunity that’s in front of us. Although there has been speculation and uncertainty in the last week, we’ve simply had a change of investor. I’d like to thank our employees, customers and partners for their loyalty and support over the last week and now assure them that we are very much back to business as usual. We continue to be a successful and profitable business, and with the added expertise, customer portfolio and services that Liberata brings to the table, we will go from strength to strength,” said Scott Haddow, CEO, Trustmarque.

Trustmarque has been in operation for over 25 years, helping organisations to harness modern ways of working; its professional and consultative services enable organisations to optimise their IT resource, improve efficiencies and reduce costs. Liberata is a successful business process services company that helps customers reinvent complex services, transactions and technology.

The acquisition now establishes Liberata as a leading IT software and services provider to UK government and the NHS, with a significantly extended market reach, including a wide range of private sector opportunities. The scope of services now extends right across the ICT value chain and is a significant demonstration of the strategy it set out in 2013, when it acquired Trinity Expert Systems.

Together, Trustmarque and Liberata have combined revenues in excess of £240 million, employing 2,000 employees across multiple UK locations and a client base of more than 1,700 public and private sector customers.

“We are delighted to welcome Trustmarque, a profitable, hugely successful and cash generative business to the Liberata family. The acquisition creates significant value for Liberata and for all of our customers by connecting the ICT value chain. We see the advantages of the complementary service and solutions provided by Trustmarque and believe that together we can create an end-to-end proposition, for all of our clients,” said Dermot Joyce, CEO of Liberata.

The Sentio team comprised Andy Miller and Dave Irwin.
