Sentio Partners has advised the shareholders of Hull-based bulk LPG supplier LPG Direct Limited (‘LPG Direct’) on the sale of the business to Chesterfield headquartered Avanti Gas Limited (‘AvantiGas’), one of the UK’s largest suppliers of LPG and energy solutions.
Based in Hull, LPG Direct is one of the North’s leading bulk LPG gas specialists supplying over 10 million litres of LPG gas to customers operating across the industrial, commercial and domestic markets in the North East, Yorkshire and the Midlands. The business has an outstanding reputation for customer service and reliability of supply which has underpinned its 40 year’s of success in the industry.
AvantiGas are a leading LPG supplier, delivering clean and efficient LPG and energy solutions across England, Scotland and Wales offering a range of energy products and service solutions including off-grid LPG bulk gas, LPG Gas Bottles, Aerosol propellant, and an on-grid Mains gas division. AvantiGas are part of the UGI Corporation, the NYSE listed global supplier of gas and energy products and related services.
