Sentio has successfully completed the disposal by Wolseley plc of Bathstore.com to Endless LLP.
Despite poor retail market conditions, Bathstore, the UKs leading independent specialist bathroom retailer with 169 stores and over 500 employees, retains a strong market position and high brand recognition. Identifying an acquirer with the appetite and commitment to invest in the Business was a key aspect of the process. Dave Irwin commented that Endless communicated a strong interest from the outset and demonstrated its confidence by committing funds to invest in the store portfolio and further develop Bathstore’s e-commerce offering.
The sale of Bathstore represents the final step in Wolseley plcs disposal programme in line with its strategy of focusing on core operations.
