Fundpath secures venture debt facility to support next phase of growth

Sentio has supported Fundpath, a fast-growing data and business intelligence platform for the UK asset and wealth management sector, in securing a venture debt facility led by Virgin Money to support its next phase of growth.

The funding follows a landmark year for Fundpath, during which the business welcomed its 150th asset management client and continued to strengthen its position as a trusted source of insight across the wealth management industry.

A strong platform for scale

Fundpath addresses a structural challenge facing asset managers globally: the lack of timely, actionable insight into how wealth managers allocate capital. Its proprietary dataset maps fund distribution dynamics in real time, providing forward-looking intelligence into fund preferences and investment intentions. The platform is available via mobile, desktop and API, enabling more effective and relevant communication between asset and wealth managers.

Having established itself as the leading platform of its kind in the UK, Fundpath is well positioned to address the same structural inefficiencies that exist across developed wealth management markets worldwide. The new facility provides the financial flexibility to continue scaling the platform and supporting a growing client base.

A continued partnership

Sentio advised Fundpath on the transaction, having previously supported the team on its first institutional equity raise and subsequent follow-on investment.

Sentio led lender engagement and managed the process through to completion, drawing on its experience structuring alternative funding solutions for founder-led, high-growth technology businesses.
